Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you may be wondering before your session
The Experience
What is the difference between traditional Reiki and Angel Reiki?
Traditional Reiki works with universal life force energy to support balance and healing within the body and mind. Angel Reiki builds on that foundation by combining energy healing with intuitive and spiritual guidance. In these sessions, I connect with your angels and guides while working with your energy, allowing both healing and insight to come through in a gentle and supportive way.
What can I expect during a session?
Each session is unique, but most people experience a deep sense of relaxation and calm. You may feel warmth, tingling, or subtle sensations in the body. Emotionally, some people experience release, clarity, or a sense of peace, while others feel more grounded and connected. As I work with your energy, I also connect with your angels and guides, and intuitive messages or insights often come through during the session. These may offer clarity, reassurance, or a deeper understanding of what you are moving through. Some sessions feel more quiet and restorative, while others include more guidance. Both are supportive and unfold in the way you most need.
What if I don’t feel anything during the session?
That is completely okay. Everyone experiences energy differently. Some people feel physical sensations or emotional shifts, while others simply feel relaxed or calm. Even if you do not feel anything during the session, the energy work is still taking place and supporting your system in subtle ways. Sometimes the effects are noticed later, through clarity, emotional shifts, or a greater sense of balance.
Logistics + Practical
Is virtual Reiki really as effective as in-person?
Yes. Energy is not limited by physical distance. Virtual sessions can be just as powerful as in-person sessions because the work is done within your energy field, not through physical touch. Many people actually find virtual sessions more comfortable, as they are able to relax in their own space.
Do you offer in-person sessions for everyone?
At this time, in-person sessions are offered for women only and are available on Sundays and Mondays by appointment. Virtual sessions are available for everyone and are just as powerful and supportive. If you feel called to work together, distance or location will never limit the experience.
How should I prepare for a session?
Come as you are. If you’d like, you can find a quiet, comfortable space where you can relax without interruption. Taking a few moments beforehand to slow down or settle your mind can help you feel more present going into the session. You’re welcome to come with an intention, question, or something you’d like support around, but it’s not required. The most important thing is to arrive with an open mind and allow yourself to receive. There is nothing you need to do during the session, just relax and be supported.
How will I feel after a session?
Many people feel lighter, calmer, and more grounded. Others notice emotional release, clarity, or a deeper connection to themselves. Everyone’s experience is different, and sometimes the effects continue to unfold in the hours or days after your session.
What if I don’t feel ready for my session?
That’s completely okay, and more common than you might think. It’s natural for feelings like hesitation, nervousness, or even resistance to come up before a session, especially when you are stepping into something new or deeper within yourself. You don’t need to feel ready, clear, or in a certain headspace to receive a session. In fact, many people come in feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure, and that is often when the work can be most supportive. You are met exactly where you are, without pressure or expectation. If you feel you need to reschedule, you are always welcome to do so with at least 12 hours’ notice. At the same time, you don’t need to wait until you feel “ready” to begin.
Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy
I understand that life can be unpredictable, and I always aim to hold this with care and flexibility. If you need to cancel or reschedule, I kindly ask for at least 12 hours’ notice. Sessions canceled with more than 12 hours’ notice may be rescheduled for a later time. Cancellations made within 12 hours of your session are handled on a case-by-case basis and may require a new booking. All sessions are non-refundable. By booking, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. This allows me to honor my time and energy, as well as make space for others who may be waiting for a session.
Spiritual + Beliefs
Will I connect with a loved one who has passed?
During sessions, I may receive intuitive impressions or messages connected to loved ones who have passed. However, I cannot guarantee that this will happen in every session, and sessions are not intended to be mediumship readings. The focus is always on your healing, your energy, and what is most supportive for you in that moment.
Is this tied to a specific religion?
No. This work is spiritual, but not religious. It is open to people of all beliefs and backgrounds, and is meant to support your personal connection to yourself, your intuition, and your own sense of inner guidance. Many people come to this work while still holding their own spiritual or religious beliefs. This is not about replacing those, but about creating space for deeper connection, healing, and self-awareness.
